This 1-day course covers a wide variety of key aspects when working with older people in residential or domicilliary care, with a focus on dementia awareness, the protection of vulnerable adults and working with the sort of challenging behaviour sometimes presented by elderly people in care.

The course material is underpinned by a Toolkit of skills which care workers can use in day-to-day interactions with clients who may suffer from mental health problems such as Alzheimers Disease or Depression.
